Homer, Alaska is the Halibut Capital of the world and every year thousands of fishermen travel from all over the world to  catch these tasty fish. The limit in 2026 is 2 fish a day and one must be under 27'' long.

May- September King (Chinook) Salmon can be caught in the Cook Inlet. Around the end of July is when Silver Salmon start showing up and can be caught through September.

Salmon limits depend on the area fished, and can change throughout the season

Rockfish are aggressive and fun to catch, there are several different species of rock fish, the most common being caught is the black rockfish. The limit is 3 a day, only 1 of those can be non-pelagics which include yelloweye, quillback, copper, silvergray, tiger, and China rockfish

Fishing for Rockfish and Salmon is an excellent way to spend the day on the water reeling in fish. We offer this trip on every Tuesday and Wednesday. When booked as a private charter we can add the option to target and keep Halibut through the GAF program. Each angler can keep 2 Halibut a piece, with no size restriction. There will be an additional charge of  $100 per halibut that is retained to cover the charge of the GAf  tag. please call if you have any questions.

Our long range halibut trip is geared for the serious fisherman, big fish are not a guarantee, but we are targeting areas where other boats don't reach as often and doing our best to stack the odds in your favor to catch a fish of a lifetime.

On our long range trips we have the option to retain a second Halibut of any size through the GAF program at a cost of $100 per halibut. please call with any questions.

If your crunched for time and seeing Bears and catching Halibut are on your Alaska to do bucket list, this is the excursion you've been looking for.We'll depart from the Homer Harbor and make are way across Cook Inlet to Lake Clark National Park. Upon arriving in Chinitna Bay your guide will escort you around to the various viewing platform to see the Majectic Brown bears.   Depending on the tide we'll stop for a few hours ether on the way to or from the Bears to wet our lines  in search of Halibut.

We're able to offer this trip on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through the GAF program. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays retention of one  Halibut is included in the trip price,  if you'd like to keep a second Halibut it will be an additional $100 please call with any questions.
